We’ve reviewed our advice and continue to advise exercise a high degree of caution in the United Arab Emirates. There’s an increased risk of terrorism, including threats against military bases. Terrorist attacks could occur at any time and target locations frequented by foreigners including places of worship, hotels, transport hubs, shopping malls, markets, residential compounds and tourist locations (see ‘Safety’).
