Cyclone Gezani made landfall in Madagascar on 10 February (local time). There are reports of widespread infrastructure damage, including water and electricity outages. Flights are disrupted and airport closures might occur. Flooding, flash floods, and landslides are likely in impacted regions. Assessment of the damage is ongoing.
