Quad bike and motorcycle accidents have caused serious injuries and deaths of Australian visitors to Greece. You need specific travel insurance for quad biking as it’s excluded from many policies. Always read the details of your cover (see ‘Travel’).

Public protests, strikes, demonstrations and events that draw large groups of people occur regularly and often with little notice. Protests and strikes can disrupt public transport and see road closures. Follow the advice of local authorities (see ‘Safety’).
