The 2026 Milan Cortina Winter Olympic Games are taking place in northern Italy until 22 February, followed by the Winter Paralympic Games from 6 to 15 March. Events will be held across eight cities in Lombardy and Northeast Italy, including Milan and Verona. If you’re travelling in Italy for the Games, plan your transport, accommodation and tickets well in advance, and allow sufficient travel time between locations. Italian authorities may request proof of identity, including your passport. Be sure to carry valid identification at all times.
