Border crossings with Belarus have been temporarily suspended until 30 November. There’s also temporary border checks at Lithuania’s borders with Poland. Entry and exit conditions may change at short notice.

The new European Entry/Exit System (EES) has started for all non-EU nationals, including Australians, travelling in or out of the Schengen Area. You’ll need to register at borders and have your fingerprint and photo taken. There may be longer border queues (see ‘Travel’).
