We continue to advise exercise a high degree of caution in Honiara. Political unrest can occur in Honiara during Parliament sittings, elections and times of political uncertainty.

There’s an increase of mosquito borne illnesses, including Malaria and Dengue fever (see ‘Health’).

Petty crime, break-ins, robbery and more serious offences including sexual assault can occur (see ‘Safety’).
