We continue to advise exercise normal safety precautions in South Korea. The situation in South Korea is evolving due to ongoing developments in domestic politics. Avoid protests and demonstrations which could occur in Seoul, particularly in the vicinity of the National Assembly (Yeouido), Gwanghwamun Square, the Constitutional Court (Anguk), the Presidential Office (Samgakji) or on university campuses. Demonstrations could also occur in other major cities or elsewhere in the country. Transport and other essential services may be disrupted. Monitor the media for updates and follow the advice of local authorities (see ‘Safety’).
We advise:
Exercise normal safety precautions in South Korea.
