Vietnam continues to experience major flooding and heavy rain. Storms may cause landslides, flooding and power disruptions. Check with your airline, hotel or travel agent for possible disruptions to travel. Check media for updates and follow instructions of local authorities.

Penalties for drug offences include the death penalty and life imprisonment. Don’t use or carry illegal drugs and never carry parcels or luggage for others. Check your visa details carefully for errors (see ‘Travel’).
